GP

Caitlyn is a GP with a special interest in women’s health and sexual and reproductive health. She has completed additional training including a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and spent time working with Family Planning Victoria. She aims to make her patients feel comfortable, listened to, and empowered in their health and wellbeing.

Brigette is a local GP living on Wadawurrung country. She has worked in Geelong and surrounds for 10 years and has developed a passion for helping people with complex pain syndromes and reproductive concerns. Brigette also works for the Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operation also spends time teaching students and working for Colac Hospital.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Celia Bolton has been working as a pelvic health and pelvic pain physiotherapist since 1996. She has postgraduate qualifications in Continence & Pelvic Floor Rehab, Exercise for women, Gender studies, Nature Based Therapy and is a Meditation teacher. She is Director of Innerstrength Healthcare in Grovedale and on the board of the Continence Foundation of Australia. Her sincerest wish is to together understand your pelvic pain, empower you with choices, evidence-based achievable strategies, and knowledge to improve your tough journey. Strategies include, lifestyle advice, TENS, movement, exercise, stretching, Feldenkrais, pelvic floor rehabilitation, bladder and bowel treatments, intimacy support, relaxation and pain neuroscience education.

Alice has worked across both the public and private settings delivering pelvic health physiotherapy services. Alice has a special interest in pelvic pain as she finds it extremely rewarding to support patients in their individual journey through education and developing strategies to treat their pain. Alice looks forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Charlotte is a highly skilled Osteopath with over 15 years of postgraduate experience. Having completed further study in pain science and education, she is one of a select few Advanced Practice Pain Management Osteopaths in Australia. At the Kardinia Health Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Clinic, she is an integral part of the specialized team, serving as the Pain Educator. Charlotte is dedicated to helping people understand their pain and empowering them to manage it effectively. Passionate about persistent pain and women’s health, Charlotte collaborates closely with GPs, psychologists, and gynecologists. She specializes in complex pain presentations, with a particular focus on persistent pelvic pain.

Emily-Hill

Dr Emily Hill

Psychologist

Emily is a registered clinical psychologist with doctoral level qualifications and over fifteen years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both hospital settings and private practice. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and disorders of childhood. Emily is also experienced in providing counselling for relationship difficulties and fertility issues. Emily uses a predominantly cognitive behavioural therapy approach to modify unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and promote optimal functioning. Emily is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a treatment typically used to treat trauma reactions. Emily has a special interest in women’s health and is a treating psychologist with the Kardinia Health pelvic pain and endometriosis clinic.

Nadia-Maxwell

Nadia Maxwell

Dietitian

Nadia is a Dietitian and Clinical Hypnotherapist who supports people with periods to soothe symptoms, heal their relationship with food and nourish themselves better. She has a special interest in supporting people with endometriosis and pelvic pain to improve their symptoms without restrictive diets. Nadia works with clients online and in-person in Melbourne and Geelong.

Kat Stanley is a trauma truth teller, a psychologist and a thought leader in the pelvic pain space. She translates her lived experience, themes from stories of those with pelvic pain and the most recent research findings into advocacy that gives a voice to women and people who have often been unheard. This has helped inform research, workshops, clinical training and policy. Kat has a unique perspective as a person with lived experience, a director of a not-for-profit foundation (EndoHelp), a psychologist and her involvement in research. This combination of skills and networks has helped her to generate comprehensive and innovative ideas to improve the lives of those with Endo and pelvic pain both within the medical system and their daily lives. Kat’s wish if for everyone with pelvic pain to be SEEN, BELIEVED and HEARD.

As a pelvic pain and endometriosis nurse with lived experience, Anna is committed to supporting others with pelvic pain. Anna has completed post-graduate studies in endometriosis and pelvic pain, education and patient support. Anna strives to empower others with knowledge and resources to build their care team and achieve individual health and wellness goals.
